About Bullock
Jenn
ifer Bullock is the Lead Conservator at Carolina Conservation. After earnin
g an MA in Art History at Brigham Young University Jennifer moved to Newcas
tle upon Tyne, England to pursue a Master’s degree in the Conservation of F
ine Art with a specialism in Easel Paintings. Her work experience includes
internships at various institutions, including the Victoria and Albert Muse
um and Tate Britain, Tate Modern and Tate Stores as well as private conserv
ation work throughout England and the Western States. Jennifer loves every
aspect of the science, craft and process of the conservation of fine art an
d has treated a variety of objects from Renaissance panel paintings to 18th
century English pastoral paintings on canvas to modern and contemporary wo
rks.
About Bernasconi
Massimiliano (Massi) Bern
asconi is the Books & Paper Conservator at Carolina Conservation. Massi
earned his MA in Conservation of Books & Works on Paper from the Scuol
a Restauro di Villa Manin in Passariano, Italy. Massi has worked both inter
nationally and within the U.S., and is trained to properly treat prints, dr
awings, documents and other works on paper using traditional treatments, su
ch as aqueous bathing and adhesive removal, as well as more current techniq
ues such as gelled systems and deacidification. With a comprehensive backgr
ound in museum-quality paper conservation and a commitment to ongoing educa
tion, he is skilled in treating everything from works on paper to maps and
historic documents.
